Thanks for the video, if I were to get a business degree would that still be acceptable for this job? Or would I have to major in finance

Dear Ryan, which qualification is suitable for FP&A between CFA and CPA
would you recommend it switching from accounting job, seems higher pay. Which type of higher excel formulas does fp&a use? any sql?
I have 2 years left of business school. Which do you think is better to take first the CFA, CMT, CPA or FP&A. I have an interest in all of the above.
How did you transition from FP&A? Was your experience in FP&A worth something after the transition?
sounds like a good gig, but can't move up past Senior FP&A is a no for me.
Thanks Ryan for the info.
How often do you use Tableau?
your channel is Awesome
Hey Ryan, thanks for the video (subscribed). I normally don't make long comments like these on videos but I see that you're responsive and I'm really curious what your take would be on my situation:
I did my undergrad in Social Science at a local university in the US and then did a Master's at a pretty good university in the UK, but it was in international relations. I wanted to do political risk analysis and work with political science and data, but that route didn't have a lot of jobs and salaries were low. Through working enough jobs on the side through school in billing and collections, I now manage an AR team at a decent-sized tech company where I live. I don't have a degree in finance/accounting and am reluctant to sink any more money into school, so I'm just trying to hustle my way through it all and build up my skillset. FP&A seems within reach if I bust my ass and start implementing the principles of that role into the one I have right now, and maybe some smaller company takes a chance on me. Do I seem too off my rocker in thinking this? What other advice would you give me, if any?
If you end up reading/responding thanks in advance!!!
Thanks Ryan!
