The Comma.ai CEO rolled out the latest version of his company’s assisted-driving hardware here at CES 2020, featuring a more user-friendly interface and a cleaner install. The Comma Two is a piece of hardware about the size of a smartphone that can be mounted on your windshield. A forward-facing camera shows the road ahead with your lane highlighted, your speed and the speed limit.
To activate, you download the Openpilot software. It’s free, open-source software that gives many late-model vehicles from Acura, Chrysler, Honda, Jeep, Kia, Subaru and Toyota the ability to accelerate, brake and stay in a lane with no intervention from the driver.

Does anyone know if I can add adaptive cruse to my wife’s 2021 SLT Yukon. My 2020 SLT has it. Only the Denali offers it for 2021. The sales manager said he’d install in at half price if it’s feasible in the future? Otherwise we just but the worlds most expensive grocery getter!
Yeah, I decided the company was not for me based on this guy
Awesome. I have a late model Q7 that didn't come with radar cruise but has lane assist etc. Is this going to be problematic to add? Thanks
Wow! You had me going there with your title. It should have read "This gadget improves your cars existing ACC and lane-keeping technology". After searching for a solution for my 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD, I now realize that it's never going to happen for me. My truck doesn't have the base program that you need to enhance.
this woman knows nothing yet she's still pretending she is an expert of tech
what i hate about comma is that basicly geohot is using the people who BOUGHT the device as freaking beta testers. i don t find that fair. he comes up with new model every X years and says " here beta testers , pay up "
Pretty Cool 😎
Hondas lane keeping works at 45 mph and up
Welcome in the future! 👍
Can I use this on a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country? Definitely would help being a double amputee. How does it do at night, some roads are pretty dark.
Tesla has the full auto drive system
What happened? He’s not as enthusiastic as he was in his previous presentations about his product?
Love ya Geohot
So basically you're just improving adaptive cruise control, and not adding an adaptive cruise control system? If I'm understanding it correctly?
"seems a little better than honda system" is this sarcasm?
The sincere north arthroscopically found because taiwan superficially confess like a various staircase. lucky, old-fashioned internet
How can I get someone to help me put it in my 2020 Subaru Crosstrek?
Is there a Version for the german Autobahn that goes up to 140Mph?
Gahhh… I wish I was there to interview him! I have so many questions!
Not impressed, this doesn't make a car "autonomous", it's just an "addon" to cars that already have the ability/functionality to have adaptive cruise control/lane assist but the purchaser didn't want to pay for it when they purchased the vehicle. Better to have it through the auto manufacturer… don't be cheap
Tesla can’t even do that 😆😆😆
Id buy tbis if it was just a little less money. $1,300 for this is just a bit high. They should have a special so a bunch of people get it and it gets better tbrough learning.
So is is where GM is getting it’s super cruise? Is this available for the 2020 GMC 2500?
I have a 2016 nissan Maxima SL would it work for my car??
